Decarie Square is a commercial center in Montreal, Quebec. It houses 30 retail spaces, office spaces and a medical center.
Building owners Canpro turned to architect Issac Alt to redesign the medical center. As part of the renovation, Bloom Lighting Group was mandated to produce a centerpiece chandelier.
The result was a modern red branch-like stem made with 50mm square tube and finished with a red powder coat. Seven PAR38 light sources contained within steel ring globes of various diameters hang from the red stems. The whole chandelier is mounted on the skylight ceiling and spans two floors below.
